Talkin Stuff, now known as Bucky, was adopted in December 2016 at a young 5 years old. Although he ended up in the winners circle a few times, a minor knee injury had ended his racing career early, and he was sent to us.
After a year spent resting in the pasture with his buddies, Bucky met Mary. It was love at first sight for Mary, and after a clean bill of health from the vet, she took him home.
With a great mind and a great work ethic, Bucky took quickly to his new career. He spent his first year with Mary learning dressage and show jumping, and has now officially started his show career.
Their first competition together was the 2018 Deep Run Pony Club Horse Trials, and the pair took home first place in their division.
Mary is looking forward to many years and many adventures with her new heart horse!
